Youth Pride, Inc.’s mission is to meet the unique, ongoing needs of LGBTQ+ youth and young adults through direct service, support, advocacy, and education.
YOUTH IN ACTION
Founded in 1997, YIA was one of the pioneers of “youth-led” work in Providence, following a time of major revitalization in the city, both in infrastructure and in culture. The organization, originally founded by a group of young people motivated to make change in the community, grew to be a flagship for youth driven work in the city. Today, Youth In Action serves close to 200 youth, weekly.
HAUS OF CODEC
Building community through the arts and Educational Empowerment. Based in the Creative Capital, Haus of Codec is committed to ensuring an end to transition-aged youth homelessness in Providence through the arts and workforce development.
JULES HOPE CHEST
For the past couple of years, the need for essentials has increased greatly. Jules Hope Chest continues to fill the gap for these essential needs where families cannot fill or have the means to provide for themselves all year around. In addition to our established programs, we will be creating new programs to help our families obtain the resources needed to survive this economic inflation.
HARMONY HILLS SCHOOL
Harmony Hill School provides clinically informed specialized programming and services to individuals with social, emotional, behavioral and learning needs in safe campus and community environments. Professional staff builds on identified strengths, offering individuals and families the opportunity to realize their potential by validating experiences and facilitating healing.
